In January 2024 we held our third Field Pack Class at our studio in Nashville. The class consisted of Todd from Clever Supply Co. in Lousville, KY, and Kyle from Phee's Original Goods in Nova Scotia, Canada.
It's always an honor when other established craftsmen and business owners with impressive and extensive experience join my class, and I end up learning near as much about business from my students as they do about bag making, and this was no exception. It was also particularly special to have my first international student.
We spent 3 days chatting business, design, and goals while creating our Field Packs.
Todd made his from Horween English Tan Dublin, and Kyle used Horween Tan Chromexcel.
We rounded the 3 day class out with a proper Nashville hot chicken dinner at the Hattie B's around the corner from the shop.
